Located in the stunning mountain town of Whistler, Treeline Aerial is a boutique aerial silks studio dedicated to providing exceptional aerial arts instruction to students of all ages. With a focus on safety, creativity, and skill development, Treeline Aerial offers a range of classes and programs designed to inspire and challenge young aspiring aerialists.
Aerial Silks Camp for Kids
This summer, Treeline Aerial is thrilled to offer a jam packed summer of Aerial Silks Camps for kids! After last summers popularity we extended our dates to run camp from the first week in July all the way through to the last week in August.
Our camps are designed for children ages 7-12 who are eager to learn the art of aerial silks in a fun and supportive environment. Led by experienced instructors, our campers will have the opportunity to explore the world of aerial arts, build strength and flexibility, and unleash their creativity as they learn new skills and techniques. We focus on an inclusive and non-competitive environment to allow your child to succeed in an active creative environment which is truly unique to this performance art.
What to Expect
During our week-long camp, campers will participate in daily aerial classes where they will learn a variety of tricks and poses on multiple apparatus, including climbs, wraps, and drops. In addition to aerial silks instruction, campers will have the opportunity to engage in games, crafts, and other activities that promote teamwork, confidence, and creativity. Below is a sample of what a typical day at camp could look like for your child
9am - Arrival /Welcome
9-9:30am - Warm Up Game & Stretching
9:30-10:30am - Activity 1 (aerial silks, hoop, hammock or pole)
10:30-10:45am - Snack Break
10:45am-11:45am - Activity 2
11:45-12:15pm - Game (craft/dance party, aerial game)
12:15-:12-:45pm - Lunch Break
12:45-1:45pm - Activity 3
1:45-2pm - Cool Down Stretch
Safety First
At Treeline Aerial, safety is our top priority. Our instructors are highly trained and go through inhouse certification in aerial arts instruction to ensure our tried and true syllabus is delivered. Our studio is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. We do not cut corners when it comes to safety in aerial arts, with full public liability insurance coverage and regular equipment inspection and checks we aim to keep your child as safe in the air as can be giving them a thrilling experience in a highly controlled risk mitigated environment.
